What if mortgage co have not taken back property?

The house been in forclosure over a year and mortgage company have not taken over house. I told their attorney I wanted to quick claim deed and was told I didn't have to doanything it was part of foreclosure. I never mailed back the key been staying with freindas and family. Been unable to find steady work.

No reason to leave the property before the bank comes to take it, unless you'd just prefer not to be there. When they do come they will typically offer you as much as $2500 to move without forcing them to do an eviction and leave the house clean.
