I would love referrals

I have subscribed to several web sites to get BPO's and be able to list REO's, and have received nothing! I love the FORECLOSURERADAR.COM website of which I am a member, want to list some of these bank owned property. Matter of fact, there is a house in my tract listed as a preforeclosure. It is obvious it is abandoned. I called the bank and they won't talk to me since they need seller's permission in writing to talk to me. Problem is I DO REALLY HAVE A BUYER FOR THIS HOME! Yet, WAMU said they won't talk to me without permission.
Any advice?

Hi Debbie - Yes. Find the owner. Preforeclosure investors have been doing this on abandoned houses for years. If you can find the owner they will likely be cooperative short sellers as they have nothing more to lose and quite a bit to gain.
Some suggestions on finding the owner: try sending a letter, it may be forwarded; talk to neighbors; use online "skip-tracing" tools like Merlin or Accurint; google them. You should find their name in the opportunity details, and if this was a second home, you may find their mailing address as well.
Best of luck.
