What is difference between est value and sale amount?

est. value is generic number

est. value is generic number this site says that property is worth. consult a realtor in your area do not use that number if you are seriously bidding at an auction. the sale amount is the dollar amount where the bidding for this property will start.

Thanks bblain!!! Great answer. I'll just add that bidding at auction is currently starting an average of 36% below the Sale Amount in California and that the Sale Amount, is typically the estimated total amount owed on the loan as of the first auction date.
